Dates
What is BYU-“I do” all about? Getting dates and then getting married. But sometimes it is hard to know what exactly you can do on those dates. It can be hard to come up with ideas for group or individual dates. However, there are people all around you that can give you options and here are some that would be fun to do during the spring semester. There are a lot of activities that you can modify to make it work for a group or for an individual date but there are also some that can only be done with as a group or as a couple. To help the ease the stress that comes with finding the perfect activity for a date, there are some ideas listed below.
Photo-Scavenger Hunt – This one requires a little bit of work beforehand, but when it's all said and done, everyone in your group will be sure to thank you for all your hard work. In order for this to work you'll need come with tasks the participants need to complete, whether that's stopping a random stranger and posing for a picture, or heading to one of Rexburg's notable restaurants and snapping a shot. You'll want to come up with about 20 tasks and it's definitely great idea to make it a competition. The losers have to host a movie night and make a treat for the next time you guys get together.
Cocoa Bean Bakery and Dollar Theater – This one requires a lot less work than the Photo-Scavenger Hunt, but it's definitely just as fun. Get a group together and take a trip to the Cocoa Bean Bakery (located just off of Main Street on College Ave). When you arrive take turns guessing the cupcake flavor each person is going to order and if you all order something different you can take turns trying one another's cupcakes. When you done walk over to the Dollar Theater located a couple of blocks over.

“Devo”-Dates – Every Tuesday most of the students at BYU-I gather together in the I-Center to hear someone give a devotional message. Often people go with their friends, but this is also an excellent time to go on a date. Not only is it free, but it's also a way to be spirituall edified while getting to know someone.
Walking through the School Gardens and a Picnic – In the Springtime the gardens on the BYU-I campus begin to bloom and grow. As long as you and your date aren't allergic to nature, walking through the gardens is a great way to spend the afternoon or evening. When you've decided you're done walking around surprise that special someone with a picnic lunch. Spread out a blanket, soak up the sunshine, and enjoy one another's company.
