Recreational Activities
The fall semester is a great time to live in Rexburg, because the weather is still nice and there is plenty to do in regards to recreational activities. Looking for a fun way to spend the weekend, but don’t have any plans? No need to fear, Rexburg has you covered! Here are just 3 of the many recreational activities available for students.
On Campus-
Do you like the outdoors and love trying new things? Well then, head on down to the ORC (Outdoor Resource Center), which is located just underneath the bleachers at the BYU-I Stadium. Here you find plenty of outdoor equipment including bicycles, climbing gear, and kayaks that are available to rent for relatively low prices. All you have to do is find a way to use them and have fun.
Not really into the rigorous outdoor activities but find that you enjoy organized sports? Walk, sprint, or jog on over to the Recreational Activities Office and join a sports team. Sports such as soccer, basketball, ultimate frisbee, and football are available. The majority of the sports offered have both competitive and recreational teams for you to choose from. Whichever team you decide to join, both are guaranteed to be a fun time!
